Terms of service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms apply to the Mailsky app and the mailsky.app website. Mailbox plans are sold, billed and supported by EltaHost under the EltaHost terms of service.
1. Who we are
Mailsky is made by Soft-KS, Prishtina, Kosovo ("we", "us"). By installing the app or using the website you agree to these terms. If you use Mailsky for a company, you confirm that you may accept them for that company.
2. The service
Mailsky is an email client: it connects to a mailbox hosted on our mail platform so you can read and send email, manage your calendar and contacts and use the extra features described on this website. The app itself is free. The mailbox is either a paid plan that you order from EltaHost, or a personal @mailsky.app address that you create on mailsky.app (see section 4).
We keep improving Mailsky, so features may change, be added or be removed. We will not remove a core feature you pay for through your mailbox plan without notice.
3. Your account and security
- Keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for what happens through your mailbox.
- Tell us at support@mailsky.app if you think someone else has access to your mailbox.
- Mailbox admins are responsible for the mailboxes, aliases and team inboxes they create, and for offboarding people who leave.
4. Personal @mailsky.app addresses
On mailsky.app you can create a personal address (name@mailsky.app) directly with us. The free address includes 1 GB of storage; Mailsky Plus (more storage and higher limits) is a paid upgrade sold through EltaHost. If Plus ends, the address goes back to the free plan; if it then holds more than 1 GB, new email is refused until you delete enough.
- You must be at least 16 and give a recovery email address that belongs to you. It is the only way to reset a forgotten password, so keep it up to date.
- The address is for personal use by one person. Don’t create addresses in bulk, for someone else without their consent, or to pretend to be another person, company or authority. We may refuse, rename or remove names that impersonate others or are offensive.
- Sending is limited (free: 20 emails an hour, 10 in the first week; the AI assistant 10 times a day). Bulk email, newsletters and marketing lists are not allowed on personal addresses.
- To protect delivery for everyone, sending is stopped automatically when an address causes many spam rejections or bounces. Receiving keeps working. Write to support@mailsky.app if you think this was a mistake.
- The free address comes without a guarantee of availability. We back up the mail platform for disaster recovery, but can’t restore single emails you deleted.
- An address that isn’t signed in to for 12 months may be closed after we warn you at your recovery email. A closed or deleted name stays blocked for a year and is not given to anyone else during that time.
- You can delete your address at any time in the Mailsky app (Settings → Delete account) or by writing to privacy@mailsky.app from it; everything in it is then deleted.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Mailsky or your mailbox to:
- send spam, bulk unsolicited email or phishing;
- send malware or try to break into other systems;
- break the law, or infringe other people’s rights, including privacy and copyright;
- overload, reverse engineer or disrupt the app, the website or the mail platform.
Sending limits apply to protect everyone’s delivery. We may suspend a mailbox or app access that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
6. AI assistant
AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong. Read a summary, translation or draft before you rely on it or send it. Daily usage limits apply.
7. Your content
Your emails, calendar and contacts belong to you. We only process them to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep Mailsky and the mail platform available and announce planned maintenance on status.eltahost.com. We can’t promise the service will never be interrupted, and Google Play and Apple app store availability is outside our control.
9. Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for the free app is limited to €100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Liability for the paid mailbox service is set out in the EltaHost terms.
10. Ending use
You can stop using Mailsky at any time by signing out and uninstalling the app. To cancel your mailbox plan, use your EltaHost account.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app at least 14 days in advance. If you keep using Mailsky after that, the new terms apply.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. Disputes go to the competent court in Prishtina, unless consumer law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.
