MailskySpam, held emails and private addresses
Release emails the filter is holding and keep your real address private.
Held for review
Emails that look risky are held by the spam filter instead of being delivered. You get a notification, and the menu (☰) shows them under Held for review. Tap one and Release it if it’s fine. Emails with viruses can’t be released.
Spam filter level
Settings → Spam filter: Strict catches more spam, Relaxed marks fewer good emails as spam. Normal is recommended.
Private addresses
Use a private address when a website asks for your email. Menu (☰) → Private addresses → New private address, write what it’s for and how long to keep it. The new address is copied right away. Mail to it lands in your inbox, marked with its label. When it starts getting spam, switch it off.
Images and tracking
Pictures from the internet are blocked until you tap Show images, so senders can’t see when you open their email.
